Ray joined Eglet Law in July 2020 as a remote legal clerk during his senior year of undergraduate studies. After completing his first semester of law school, he returned to Eglet Law as a law clerk and continued in that role throughout the remainder of his legal education. Ray earned his Juris Doctor at UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law in May 2024 and passed the Nevada Bar Exam in February 2025. Shortly afterward, he was promoted to associate attorney.

Ray was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and moved to Las Vegas at the age of three. After graduating from Bishop Gorman High School in 2017, he attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, initially majoring in biology. While attending Florida State University, he developed a passion for the legal profession and changed his major to psychology with a focus on the pre-law track. While attending FSU, Ray was active in his fraternity, Phi Kappa Tau, where he regularly held study hours and tutoring sessions for new associate members as a Member Orientation Officer. Prior to joining Eglet Law during his junior year, Ray interned at the criminal defense firm of Friedman, Abrahamsen, and Cruz.

Ray began his law school career at the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. While attending the University of Louisville, he became the Moot Court Board Vice President of External Affairs. Ray was in the Academic Fellow Program at the beginning of his 2L year, which was designed to guide newly admitted students during their first year of law school through weekly presentations and office hours. He was also a member of the Latinx Law Society and the Office of Student Affairs and Diversity Task Force, serving as a liaison between the University faculty and its law school student body.

In the winter of 2022, Ray decided to return home to Las Vegas to be closer to his family and his employment at Eglet Law. He transferred to UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law during his 2L year and continued to work as a law clerk until his graduation in May 2024. Ray is licensed to practice law in Nevada.

When not practicing law, Ray enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, Layla. He also enjoys watching his Florida State Seminoles on Saturdays and his Miami Dolphins on Sundays.
